Melissa Kraw has been a choreographer/teacher since 2004. Her dance career began in her hometown of Fremont, Ca at the age of three under the direction of Donna Dellaria at Mission Dance and Performing Arts. Upon relocating in 2000, she furthered her training at Pamelot A School of Dance in Auburn, Ca under the direction of Debbi Sampson where she successfully completed the dance teacher training program with Pam Harrold. As a Rhythm N’ Motion competitive company member, Kraw became disciplined in the art of ballet, jazz, contemporary/lyrical, modern, musical theater and hip hop. Along with having a diverse dance background, she has earned platinum awards at various regional competitions such as “JUMP”, “NYCDA” and local workshops held by the Sacramento Area Dance Alliance. She auditioned for the hit TV show “So You Think You Can Dance” and was named Top 40. Melissa has taught at numerous studios and dance companies including Pamelot A School of Dance: Rhythm N’ Motion, Lines School of Performing Arts and Anti–Gravity School of Dance: Jazz Ensamble. She currently is a member of the AGSD Roseville Modern Dance Company. Melissa has created her own funky style teaching classes that are fun, innovative and passionate, designed to inspire and open the soul.
