Pam Harrold –

For over 50 years Pam Harrold has trained in all areas of dance. She has a love and passion for the art that is comparable to none. After studying as a child under her ballet master she went on to perform with the San Francisco Ballet. As a young adult Pam added the discipline of jazz and tap. She is most passionate, however, about musical theater. Pam has studied in New York with Chet Walker as well as other masters throughout the country. Her Choreography often mimics the Bob Fosse style. During her successful professional career as a dancer, actress and performer, Pam opened Pamelot A School Of Dance in 1984. Longing to work in the community with the children, she choreographed over 20 of Placer county’s school musicals, has taught countless hours of dance classes and has been involved in many other community projects. She is a teacher of teachers and hopes to leave a legacy of the love of dance and wholesome family enjoyment. back to list


Debbi Sampson –

Debbi Sampson has been dancing most of her life, studying ballet, jazz, tap, musical theater, and contemporary. After being a member of three professional dance companies in Northern California, she moved to the Los Angeles area to further her dance education. Debbi studied under renowned teachers and choreographers such as Jackie Sleight and Doug Caldwell. She has also studied on the East Coast with teachers and choreographers such as Suzi Taylor, Mike Minery, and Finis Jhung. Debbi added acting to her resume appearing as Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street and Rosemary Pelkington in How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying. She has also appeared in a local commercial made for TV. Currently Debbi teaches and choreographs for Pamelot a School of Dance and different schools in the foothill area. She is the artistic director and choreographer for Pamelot’s semi-professional performing company, Rhythm ‘n Motion where her choreography has won high awards from many regional dance competitions. Debbi Sampson enjoys choreographing, but truly loves the experience of creating a special connection with each and every one of her students. back to list


Abigail Jones –

Abigail Jones has been dancing with Pamelot since 2009 and has been with Pamelot’s Rhythm N’ Motion company since 2013. She also trained with the Ballet Company for a year. Throughout her years she has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Musical Theater along with Contemporary and Lyrical. Specifically, Abigail enjoys Musical Theater dance and Jazz. When she was in seventh grade she joined Rhythm ‘n Motion. She has performed and competed and won high awards in multiple group pieces as well as solos duos and trios. Abigail will be going into her Junior year at Placer High School and her third year as a runner for Placer High School’s cross country team. She hopes to continue dancing through college where she wants to study English. She has been student teaching for three years now and is so excited to officially join the teaching staff. back to list 

 


Brookke Rogers –

_MG_0225new Brookke Rogers has been dancing at Pamelot since she was three years old. After training in genres such as Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Musical Theater she was welcomed into Pamelot’s Performance Company, Rhythm N Motion. She loves all varieties of dance but especially Ballet and Pointe. When Brookke was sixteen she accepted the role as Clara in the Nevada Country Performing Arts Theatre production of the Nutcracker. She also performed with Placer Theatre Ballet in the productions of Coppelia and the Nutcracker. Brookke has the privilege to be choreographing and dancing as the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nevada County Nutcracker this year. Brookke is currently pursuing a career as a dental assistant as well as adding dance teacher to her resume. She is excited to continue to be part of the Pamelot family and share her love of dance with her students! back to list 

 


Cheyenne Elisio –

Cheyenne Elisio is 24 years old and has been part of the Pamelot family for almost 21 years. She has studied at Pamelot, the Conservatory of Dance, and various other local studios. She enjoys a wide variety of dance styles but especially love Ballet/Pointe, Tap, and Lyrical. She was also a part of Pamelot’s company Rhythm ‘n Motion and a former member of the Placer Theatre Ballet. She performed various roles in classical and theatrical ballets such as the Nutcracker, Cinderella, and Alice in Wonderland. Cheyenne graduated with her B.A in Developmental Psychology from William Jessup University and is now a graduate student with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in their M.S Applied Behavior Analysis program. Both Cheyenne and Dorothy Curtis are co-heads of Pamelot’s new Ballet Company. Cheyenne genuinely feels called to help children of all ages to grow not only as dancers but also as people. She is so excited to be a part of the Pamelot family! Here is to another great year! back to list

 


Dorothy Curtis –

Dorothy Curtis began dancing at the age of 8, studying ballet under accomplished teachers at a variety of studios in the Auburn and Rocklin area, including The Conservatory of Dance and Pamelot a School of Dance.  She has attended workshops and dance intensives with companies such as The Sacramento Ballet, Ballet Magnificat! (professional Christian Ballet Company), and Core Contemporary Dance Co.  She has performed in classical ballets such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and the Placer Theatre Ballet’s annual Nutcracker. Dorothy has been a teacher/choreographer at Pamelot since 2008, and has enjoyed creating numerous pieces for shows and competitions.  In 2014, Dorothy and Cheyenne Green launched Pamelot’s first ever Ballet Company which they now co. direct and in 2015, Dorothy was an assistant choreographer for Pat Colgate’s production of the ballet “Peter and the Wolf”. Dorothy is currently studying at the Sacramento State School of Music where she is majoring in Music Theory and Composition.  She hopes one day to combine her love for writing and creating music with her love for choreography and dance.  She firmly believes that the study and practice of art, be it music, dance, or otherwise, feeds the soul and can grow an individual in a way that few other things can. The ability to create is a valuable gift that everyone has and it should be encouraged and nurtured. back to list


Hayley Albrecht –

FullSizeRenderHayley Albrecht has been dancing for about 13 years beginning at the age of 5. Before moving up to Auburn in 2005, Hayley trained at Dance Express in El Cajon, CA. Hayley moved to Auburn California and began training at Pamelot a School of Dance in September of 2005. Pamelot has been her second family ever since. Hayley has trained in genres such as Ballet Jazz Lyrical Contemporary Modern and Musical Theater. Her favorite style of dance is Tap. Hayley has been instructing dance for 3 ½ years, including Tap Jazz Jumps & Turns and Modern. Hayley is thrilled to be continuing to teach during this season. back to list


Heather Leitz –

10930031_808204392598762_4819657983938666686_n Heather has been dancing since the age of 2, where she started at Mission Dance Center in Fremont, California. She moved to Tracy where she continued to take dance before asking to become a teacher in the fall of 1999. Starting with hip hop, Heather has also taught various styles of dance from Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz Funk, and Ballet. Heather started her very first hip hop company in 2002. She was on her high school dance team all four years of high school (97-01). Heather has had the honor of dancing in the Parade de Chantilly in Paris France in December 2000. She has also been in Dice’s “party tonight” music video, and got to perform in Disneyland in 2005. Heather coached the Casa Roble drill team in 2005/2006 and the Bella Vista dance team 2014/2015. Heather joined Pamelot in the spring of 2011.back to list

 


Jamie Foehr –

fullsizerenderJamie Foehr grew up in the Foothills and began dancing at the age of 2 ½ at Pamelot. Pamelot  quickly became her second home. She studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Modern and Hip Hop extensively under Pam Harrold, Debbi Sampson and Andie Masten. Rocked the Wildcat  basketball court as part of E.V. Cain Middle School’s first ever dance team lead by Marie Clark.  Performed at numerous rallies, football games and community events as a Placer High School  dance team member lead by Marcia McKenzie. She was also a part of Pamelot’s company  Rhythm ‘n Motion and competed in local conventions and competitions in Northern California  where she experienced choreography by Mia Michaels, Doug Caldwell, Joe Lanteri and  Napoleon & Tabitha “NappyTabs” Dumo.” Jamie completed the teacher training program at  Pamelot under Pam Harrold’s guidance and began teaching the following season after. She  taught dance for four years at Pamelot while completing high school and attending Sierra  College. Jamie graduated with her B.F.A. Interior Design from the International Academy of  Design in Sacramento. She spent a glorious summer abroad in London where she took her first  UK jazz class. Jamie added yoga and hiking to her list of weekly activities while working and  living in San Francisco and the greater bay area for a collective 3 years as an Interior Designer.  Jamie is beyond thrilled to be back at Pamelot teaching dance and encouraging students to  pursue their dreams! back to list


Jessica Page –

Jessica Page started dancing at the age of 10. Throughout her middle and high school years, she performed in multiple musical theatre productions, including Snoopy, 42nd Street, Little Shop of Horrors, and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She attended UCLA and obtained her Bachelor of the Arts degree in English Literature with minors in Dance and Theatre. Since graduation, Jessica has taught at Pamelot and other local studios. She has also directed, stage managed, and choreographed for local productions, including Placer High School’s Into the Woods, which won 7 of 14 nominations for Sacramento’s 2011 Elly Awards. Jessica is currently pursuing her teaching credential and hopes to become a high school English teacher. She loves watching her students grow as dancers and individuals, and strives to teach them lessons which will help them not only in dance, but in life. back to list


Lara Albrecht –

She taught at the studio through high school until she went on to pursue a double major in Cognitive Science and Psychology at UC San Diego. She is excited to be back in at her second home teaching tap and musical theater, two of her passions. back to list


Melissa Kraw –

Melissa Kraw has been a choreographer/teacher since 2004. Her dance career began in her hometown of Fremont, Ca at the age of three under the direction of Donna Dellaria at Mission Dance and Performing Arts. Upon relocating in 2000, she furthered her training at Pamelot A School of Dance in Auburn, Ca under the direction of Debbi Sampson where she successfully completed the dance teacher training program with Pam Harrold. As a Rhythm N’ Motion competitive company member, Kraw became disciplined in the art of ballet, jazz, contemporary/lyrical, modern, musical theater and hip hop. Along with having a diverse dance background, she has earned platinum awards at various regional competitions such as “JUMP”, “NYCDA” and local workshops held by the Sacramento Area Dance Alliance. She auditioned for the hit TV show “So You Think You Can Dance” and was named Top 40. Melissa has taught at numerous studios and dance companies including Pamelot A School of Dance: Rhythm N’ Motion, Lines School of Performing Arts and Anti–Gravity School of Dance: Jazz Ensamble. She currently is a member of the AGSD Roseville Modern Dance Company. Melissa has created her own funky style teaching classes that are fun, innovative and passionate, designed to inspire and open the soul. back to list


Ariana Lordge –

10425896_784230268312514_6393566179753399972_nAriana Lordge has studied classical ballet for over fifteen years. She has trained at The Conservatory of Dance and Performing Arts, Capitol Ballet Company under Stuart Carroll, and Theodore Constant Dance Academy under Theodore Constant. She has also performed with Placer Theatre Ballet since 2004. She has attended summer programs at the TCDA Summer Festival, American Ballet Theatre, Project Launch with Northern California Dance Conservatory, and Sacramento Ballet. She is also a recipient of a scholarship from Premiere Division in New York.Ariana has worked with many teachers/choreographers including Saul Marziali, Sidra Bell, Lee Wei Chao, Marek Rozycki, Tina Bohnstedt, Cosmin Marceletiu, and Shea Wing. Her repertoire includes Dewdrop, Spanish Soloist, and the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Swanhilda in Coppelia, Snow White in Placer Theatre Ballet’s Snow White, the Golden Vine Fairy, Princess Florine, and Princess Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty. She has performed excerpts from Bolero and Etudes, as well as variations from La Bayadere and Swan Lake. Ariana is currently dancing and teaches at various studios in the Sacramento area. back to list
